Who is Lisa S.?
Hello! Welcome to my tutoring page. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Central NJ in April 2020. I commute to Brooklyn daily, as I am a middle school ELA teacher at the same school since 1995. Besides having experience teaching 6th-8th grade ELA for over 25 years, I also have experience in tutoring group classes and individually, in a variety of subject areas. Hourly Rate
$90/hour for in-person tutoring and $80/hour for remote and online tutoring.

Cancellation Policy
I allow cancellations with more than 24 hours advance notice. Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a cancellation fee equal to half of a session. Cancellations the week before and the week of finals, Regents, AP tests, IB tests, and college finals are not permitted. In addition, greater than three cancellations may result in a permanent cancellation of sessions with me.
