Who is Mr. Armstrong?
I have been an art teacher for the past twelve years teaching traditional and digital mediums. I believe wholeheartedly that anyone can learn to draw, film, edit, and overall be creative with enough resilience and the desire to grow and learn. My specialties in traditional mediums are realism and abstract expressionism, and within the digital realm I specialize in Photoshop, Illustrator, graphic design and video editing through iMovie and Adobe Premiere Pro. Location I tutor in person and online. In person, I tutor in Eastern Suffolk County, Nassau County, and Queens, NY. If you are interested in working with me but you live outside of my tutoring area, we can discuss coverage for the commute. |

Hourly Rate
$100/hour for in-person tutoring and $75 for remote and online tutoring. If you are interested in a paint night (paint and sip for adults or a children's paint night), we can also discuss fees for each person and minimum fees for the gathering.

Cancellation Policy
Mr. Armstrong allows cancellations with more than 24 hours advance notice. Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a cancellation fee equal to half of a session. Cancellations the week before and the week of finals, Regents, AP tests, IB tests, and college finals are not permitted. In addition, greater than three cancellations may result in a permanent cancellation of sessions with Mr. Armstrong.
